Steven R. Vasquez sadly passed away too soon on January 19th, 2020 in Petaluma, CA. He was a native of San Francisco, CA and was the son of Louis R. Vasquez and Lydia Mahoma Vasquez, and was born on June 29th, 1957, he was 62. The youngest sibling of 4, he had 1 brother and 2 sisters. He was the husband to Michelle Montpas, and they had three children, Angela, Lia, and Steven. He worked for the Water Treatment Plant in San Francisco, with his Father, then became a civil engineer and then worked for the City of San Francisco as a Cable Car Operator for many years in his youthful years. He is preceded in death by both of his parents and his sister Marcelina Pelayo. He is survived by his loving sister Sofia Vasquez, who was his sole caretaker. Also by his brother David Vasquez and his ex wife Shelly - the mother of his children along with his 2 other ex wives that followed. He is also survived by his 6 grandchildren, ranging in ages from almost 2 - 22. He also has many cousins, nieces, nephews, and extended family, many who also live within the greater Bay Area. He enjoyed family gathering of any amount throughout his life. He enjoyed trips to Tahoe in his youth and much time spent at the Russian River cabin in Rio Nido that his parents used to own. In more recent years he loved to be a part of our family reunions whenever he was able to be there. We will miss you dear one, may you rest in peace until we meet again.
